Last Word

Introduction:

Not your typical Last Word with all ingredients having equal amounts. This one actually balances the sugar, the sour and the booze into one addictive drink. If you like gin, lime and herbal liquor, this drink is for you.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ oz. gin
  • ¾ oz. lime juice
  • ½ oz. Green Chartreuse
  • ¼ oz. Maraschino Liquor
  • ¼ oz. simple syrup
Garnish
  • Maraschino Cherry

Preparation:

Simply combine all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake well for 10-12 seconds. Double strain into coup, garnish with cherry, drink, repeat.

Notes:

Wife also enjoys substituting Maraschino Liquor with with cherry liquor, although a little cough syrupy for me.

I used pomegranate simple syrup in the picture above (explains the orangish color)
