Earl Grey Bourbon Cocktail

Introduction:

My wife actually came across this recipe wanting to mix earl grey and whiskey, and also being tired of all the super boozy drinks I typically make. We were both pleasantly surprised of how well those two pair together.  Add some blackberry to the mix and you got one deliciously smooth cocktail.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ oz. bourbon
  • 1 ½ oz. chilled earl grey tea
  • ½ oz. simple syrup
  • 1 blackberry
Garnish
  • blackberry & rosemary

Preparation:

Muddle blackberry in cocktail mixing glass. Add ice and remainder ingredients then stir well. Pour into coup and add garnish. Enjoy and feel good about yourself that you’re drinking tea!

Notes:

We found a recipe that called for pear liquor as well. If I can find it, I’ll try it and make an additional note.
