How it all began
Life Story
I certainly enjoyed backpacking prior, but having a partner that likes it nearly as much as you do definitely helps. Since Erin and I started dating (now wife), it has been one of our most favorite activities to do together. Having the opportunity to hike into an alpine lake and have it all to yourself is absolutely euphoric. It took a few years to fine tune how and where to go in Colorado, but I can now confidently find those places of solitude on a regular basis.
Erin also enjoys the taste of whiskey. So that helps us get along…
My Camping Philosophy
Leave nothing but foot prints and take only photos. Don’t be dick outdoors, it’s the only one we got.
Keep close to Nature's heart... and break clear away, once in awhile, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.
